Cars

I admit it. I like to fix cars. Okay, most of the time I like to fix cars. Sometimes, it's truly not fun and very humbling when I can't seem to figure something out and I end up putting in more effort than it's worth. But most of the time, it's very satisfying after fixing or improving something, and having it work.

The feeling, of being able to say to myself, "I built/fixed that, and it works!" at the end is just... NICE. Plus, I'm bad enough at it that I inevitably have to turn to God for help. I mean really turn to God. And he does help! Even if sometimes I don't get the answer I want.

Not only do I grow in knowledge with each project, while also getting a kink in my neck from laying on my back while turning a wrench. I'm also growing spiritually!

It's a one two punch that I need in my life I guess.

This "movie" pretty much encapsulates it all and is an entertaining watch. Someday soon I'll actually be working on a car for performance and not to just to keep it running.

I expect that to be even more fun! And spiritually uplifting!

P.S. I did threaten to retire from working on cars. Maybe just doing the little stuff in the future. That should be right after I get the engine swap of the Avalon done. 😉
