Find Purpose

There is a lot said these days about "finding joy" or to just "follow your passions". I LOVE this post from Classics Read Aloud that brings great context to something as elusive as "joy". I mentioned Classics Read Aloud in a post a while back. I highly recommend you give them a follow and hope you enjoy listening to a few classics in your spare time.

If you're LDS, then you've surely heard this quote from 2nd Nephi 25: "Adam fell that men might be; and men are, that they might have joy." (emphasis added)

As clarification on the above quoted verse, this article does an amazing job of framing what is actually meant by joy in that piece of scripture.

Last, I found this discussion below to be helpful. It takes courage to try new things and do things that make you stand out. I pray you find the courage to do hard things and achieve your purpose as you follow Christ. As you do that I promise you that you will find joy.
