Generics

I've followed Dr John Campbell since the pandemic (rational people might call it something else at this point) of 2020. He seemed to be a voice of reason in a sea of media misinformation and fear mongering.

I luckily have not needed to spend much time in the traditional medical system. Yet still, with my limited contact with it throughout my life, I have grown to distrust the advice of traditional doctors. No offense to them but I think the system has captured traditional medicine.

By "system" I mean the broader pharmaceutical and insurance industry. There is so much grift and corruption on both sides that doctors that truly want to make a difference are essentially caught in a trap that tends to incentivize keeping people sick unfortunately and doesn't allow doctors to treat their patients according to their conscience.

The medical system wants you to live (in most cases, see misprint from the article below), so they can continue to make gobs of money off you, or your family or the government (who happens to just steal your money first to pay them)!

Unfortunately there is just no incentive to investigate a treatment that might save lots of lives if its patents are expired and it's a cheap, generic solution.

And a simple reminder to take the hard way just once today!
