We would like to think that this surely would never happen in a first world country like the U.S. We are wrong.
If anything, it's much worse in the U.S. and on a scale that you and I will never know. Every dollar you earn/touch is taxed 10 or more different times. All to fund things you most likely don't want or even care about, that are typically never delivered. One thing you can bet on; the politicians and their supporters definitely benefit!
